Rural Water Supply Department
The Rural Water Supply Program is a demand based policy and has been converted into National Rural Drinking Water Program from the year 2009-2010 by including Central Government sponsored Enhanced Velocity Program, Swajaldhara and State Government sponsored Mahajal as well as Non-Tribal / Tribal internal work.
The following water supply schemes can be undertaken under the Water Supply Scheme.
- Simple wells
- Widening and deepening of existing wells
- Vindhan wells (hand pumps)
- Small tap water supply scheme
- Shivkalite water storage scheme
- Repair of existing scheme
- Strengthening
- scheme of emergence in existing scheme Expansion
- supplementary scheme
- New scheme

The implementation of water supply scheme, its planning and action as well as the prescribed period are as follows
